While I may be most fond of my two cats, my love for animals extends to all species. I find the joy that a loving and innocent animal can bring to be incomparable, and I think we tend to underestimate just how much we can learn from them.

READING
To me, reading is like traveling, a way to explore somewhere new, meet new people--whether real or fictional--and learn new things. While I read all genres, my favorite is fantasy because it takes me beyond anything I get to experience daily.
PROJECT CREATION
Be it hands-on construction, digital CAD models, or simply intangible brainstorming, I adore coming up with, creating, and designing new ideas, some of which have ranged from a high-tech pet travel backpack to a worldwide combination-hostel/hotel/Airbnb chain for digital nomads.
WORLD BUILDING & CHARACTER CREATION
As a creative who enjoys writing fantasy, my favorite part of the writing process is the world building. In developing new countries, cultures, races and more, I am inspired by those that exist in our world. Not only do I learn about world history and the interactions of different peoples in different eras, but I get to create my own versions of these histories and truly delve deeply into the motivations of people.
